Hello, everyone!  I hope you had an enjoyable long weekend.  We definitely had a rough time getting back into the swing of things...following directions...having our assignments ready...raising our hand before we blurt...I'm sure that as we get back into our routine, things will get better. 

Math has officially become difficult.  Today we retaught how to find equivalent fractions by multiplying only.  Students have a short homework assignment in math that should be fairly simple.  Please remind your child that, if they are struggling, they should not hesitate to let me know because we will keep covering new content, and they will only fall further behind.

In other news, we will not be having a DR Quiz this week.  Since we made up Friday's quiz today, we did not do another DR...this would only give us two days of DR's, so Mrs. Fredericks and I have decided to do spelling as morning work instead, hopefully giving students extra practice with their words on a short week.  We will go back to DR quizzes next week.

Tonight's homework is as follows:

• Reading: Log; read Antarctic Journal in reading book
• Spelling: begin studying words
• Math: worksheet on equivalent fractions
