Monday

Light homework night!  Students only need to complete their reading logs, study their spelling words, and some students needed to complete workbook page  44 for reading.

In other news...students set a personal GOAL for themselves today.  Thinking about one thing they could work on this week, they set a goal and shared with their team in hopes that they have some accountability in meeting their goal.  Please ask your child about this and support them as well! :)

Thanks! Have a great night!

Tuesday

Most (not all) students have math to finish tonight.  Students who are in Mrs. Ingram’s group only had to do ODD problems.  The other two groups had to complete all problems.

A new spelling list was given out today.  We will have a test on Friday.

Spelling was not assigned; however, 3x each and ABC order will both be assigned this week, so feel free to get a jump start on one or the other if you have time tonight.

We began our study of the Northeast States today.  Students will be responsible for knowing the names of the 11 Northeast States (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland), as well as their capitals.  We will be working on this much more in class, but i did teach them a song today to help them remember the states.  The test date for this is TBA.

Hope this helps to keep you informed!
